Hello HYRA Family, 
Just a reminder that we are all volunteers and we do the best we can. We all have full time jobs.

We do this for the love of the game and the kids.

Some important dates (subject to change):


Draft will be around the end of March before Franklin’s Spring Break. (3/30 – 4/7) Tentatively 3/24 COACHES ONLY


Official scheduled practices will start on Saturday, April 11th 
Pictures will be May 4th

Regular Season will start on Opening Day May 11th. We will have a parade that morning before the games (details to come)


Season will come to a completion by the end of June. 


We have an end of the year tournament seeded from the regular season. (Mini T does not have a tournament)


Age groups with low player turnout will play with other organizations (ex. Waynesville, Miamisburg, Carlisle, and Franklin)


Mini T is a developmental league and is for fun, so players will receive participation medals.


T-Ball and higher ages will receive trophies based on best records only


We need coach volunteers, so please sign up to coach this year. 


Raffle: We run a free raffle, so that you can recover $30 of your registration fee. (you keep the money you collect from the tickets) Mini T is already discounted and does not participate in the selling of raffle tickets.


We try to play all of our games (except opening day) Monday – Thursdays to give weekends for family time, etc. Sometimes weather will alter this schedule and require us to reschedule games on Fridays, and in worst case, on Saturdays.


We look forward to having everyone at the park and want to make this another great season.

Opening Day Parade information:

Subject to change based on weather conditions.

For 41 years we have had our Opening Day Parade on Mothers Day weekend.

All coaches coordinate with your parents to use a trailer or truck as your team float. Decorate however you see fit. Opening Day Parade is on May 13th. We are changing things up this year and will be lining up at Bishop Fenwick school on SR 122 and departing from there, traveling East on SR 122 to the Ball Park. We will line up at 8:00 AM. You can be there earlier if you plan on decorating that morning. The plan is to depart from Bishop Fenwick at 9:00 AM. This year with having the extra space at Fenwick, parents will have a couple designated parking areas to stay and help with decorating if needed. See picture below for details. Just be sure parents leave by 8:45 AM before the parade starts. Years past, teams have brought candy and threw out to the community during the parade that will be lined up on both sides of SR 122. This is fine, however please be sure your team is secure on the float, so no injuries happen while trying to throw candy out. Also, please do what you can to be sure kids are throwing the candy as far as possible, so candy isn’t in the middle of the roadway. Also make sure to remind kids to not throw candy at vehicles especially Sheriff/Police vehicles.

After reaching the park there are 2 areas designated for parking your float. The parking lot will be full. 1 is the grass area just left after pulling int the parking lot and the 2nd will be the grass field behind Mini Tee Ball Field. See below picture for areas. Once parked get your teams up in the outfield on Field 2 for the opening day ceremony at approximately 9:30. Please line up in the grass area by age group from left to right field. Mini Tee, Tee Ball, Coach Pitch boys and Girls, 10U, 12U Boys and Girls, then 14U.

Saturday May 6th

Please make sure to have your form finished prior to picture day to speed things up. We will have extra forms during picture’s if needed. When purchasing online please make sure to print off your purchase ID and barcode with child’s information. We will use this information during pictures to capture each child’s images.
